NZ Team announced for Junior Worlds
New Zealand is sending a very strong team to the Junior World Orienteering Championships in Denmark, led by the outstanding Angela Simpson and Jourdan Harvey.
Simpson and Harvey were top performers for New Zealand at the Sprint distance in Italy in 2009, and, based on their domestic form in 2010, are looking to break into the top 15.
Simpson currently leads both the Elite and Junior National SILVA Superseries, ahead of top ranked NZ woman Lizzie Ingham, while Harvey leads the Juniors and is placed third in the Elite men, behind World Games representatives Darren Ashmore and Ross Morrison.
The Junior World Orienteering Championships will be held in Aalborg, Denmark over 4-11 July, 2010.
